Conquering Cuisine
Snipes Farm and Education Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that brings vitality and empowerment to our community through organic food and education programs. Our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program provides fresh food, certified organic, to over 300 families, including vegetable shares to the Bucks County Homeless Shelter. Nutrition, farming, environmental and garden education programs serve thousands of children throughout the year. Children learn, create, make friends, and have outdoor adventures at our summer camp! On Fall weekends the farm is open for pumpkins, cider, kid’s activities, and farm animal visits. Classes for adults are offered in spring and summer. We are dedicated to sustainable farming practices and are 80% solar powered. Snipes Farm and Education Center offers hope through action.

Cooking with your child, enjoying family-friendly recipes and learning more about preparing healthy, delicious meals. In this fun and informative session parent and child will work side-by-side to prep and cook each of the items on the menu with the guidance of the instructor. The recipes are designed to teach basic techniques (knife skills, sauteing, sauce-making, etc.) that are beneficial to all ages. Each of the dishes prepared will enjoyed by the participants throughout the class. All equipment, recipes and ingredients are provided. Class runs approximately 2 hours and is geared for children over 10 years old.
